About the name

Stargira began as Stagira — the ancient city in Chalkidiki where Aristotle was born. An extra “r” slipped in at incorporation, and the name gained a star. We kept both on purpose: from Aristotle, phronesis — practical wisdom exercised in action; from the accident, a star to navigate by.
