Privacy notice for the Stargira Intel Solo plugin

The plugin runs on your own computer. It sends nothing to us, and keeps everything it stores in one folder you control.

Effective 31 October 2026 · covers plugin version 0.2.0

What the plugin is

Stargira Intel Solo (plugin name stargira-intel-solo) is a free plugin for Claude Code, for a sole trader or a small team on one computer. It interviews you about your business, filters the week's news to what matters to you, writes a short note on each item, and lists the gaps you need to close. It is a skill file that tells Claude what to do, plus one Python script, engine/intel.py, that runs on your computer. The code is published under the Apache 2.0 licence on GitHub, so anyone can read it.

What it sends to us

Nothing. The plugin has no telemetry: it sends no usage statistics, error reports or update checks, and it makes no calls to Stargira servers. We never see your answers, your news or your documents.

What leaves your computer

The script makes one kind of network request. It downloads the news feeds (RSS or Atom lists that websites publish) that you add. Each request goes straight to that feed's website. Like any web request, it shows that website your IP address and a short label naming the plugin and its version (stargira-intel-solo/0.2.0). It sends none of your stored data.

We checked this by reading the script on 30 October 2026. It uses only Python's standard library, and its only network code is one function that fetches feed addresses.

What Claude does

The plugin runs inside Claude Code, which is Anthropic's software, on your own Claude subscription. Claude reads your interview answers and the news items so it can write notes. When Claude searches the web or opens a news page for you, it uses Claude Code's normal tools. All of this is handled by Anthropic under Anthropic's own privacy policy and terms, not this notice. The plugin adds no data flow to us.

What it stores, and where

Everything goes in one folder: ~/IntelSolo by default, or the folder named in the INTEL_SOLO_HOME setting (an environment variable). The folder holds:

  • profile.json: your interview answers about the business (what you sell, customers, suppliers, competitors, rules, goals, worries) and the news filter built from them.
  • intel.db: a single-file SQLite database with the feeds you added, the news items fetched (title, link, short summary, date), Claude's notes on them, your gap list, and the text of any documents you added with doc add. It keeps its own copy of that text, so deleting the original file does not remove it from the database.
  • reports/: the weekly reports, as Markdown files.
  • inbox/: working files Claude writes before saving them through the script.
  • config.json: your settings, such as folders the plugin must never read.

The plugin reads only the files or folders you name. It keeps nothing anywhere else.

How long it is kept, and how to delete it

Your data stays on your computer for as long as you keep the folder. To remove everything, delete the folder. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to keep or delete.

Children

The plugin is for businesses and is not aimed at anyone under 18.
